Product-Led Growth (PLG) is a strategy where the digital product itself is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion, and expansion. Users receive value early, then convert as the product proves its worth, reducing reliance on sales and marketing.
How I've done it in the past:
➤ Driving Redeye to 10X (962,3%) digital revenue in 11 months with a SaaS investment tool
As Product Manager at Redeye Investment Bank, I carried out a major turn-around case - the digital transformation project Discover. In 15 months, I managed to work together and lift a team out of a 3-year-streak of failed attempts to build an investment tool - into a successfully rebuilt and launched product (93,9% user satisfaction).
—➤ The project dev took 15 months and included vision, concept, design, development, compliance, testing and launch of an advanced stock screening tool, system support for a new equity valuation model, and intelligent stock rating automation.
—➤ I led the commercialization project consisting of a multi-tier SaaS business model where content and functions were locked/unlocked depending on membership level.
—➤ The project resulted in revenue growth of 10x (962,3%) ARR (annual recurring revenue) after 11 months with the SaaS model, and had 30x expected ARR growth 8 months ahead.
Reached 93,9% user satisfaction, whereof 43,8% answered they were Very Positive to our tool, and 78,6% answered (after their first try) they will continue to use it.
➤ +66% e-com conversion rate improvement
